'Thank you' to Kilcullen from Pieta

The Pieta charity that deals with people in suicidal crisis has thanked Kilcullen Dawn Walk fundraising organisers for a recent donation of €6,869, writes Brian Byrne. 

Describing the funds as helping to make a difference in people's lives, Pieta's Community Fundraising Officer Dee Hayden said that without such support, Pieta would not be able to help those people. 

"You are helping to keep the doors open and our services free of charge," she wrote to the Kilcullen group founded by Lorna Brophy and Richie Kelly. "Thank you so much to all involved. Thank you to the people that donated to your event and those who take part in Dawn Walk every year. Thank you for being part of the Pieta family."
