Kilcullen area items for Kildare-Newbridge MD

There are three Kilcullen area items on the agenda of the first 2023 meeting of the Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District, to be held on 18 January, writes Brian Byrne.

All have been placed by Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer, and among them is a request for an update regarding the tender to install a pedestrian crossing at Hillside.

The councillor is also seeking an extra public light on the approach road from Brannockstown to the Mile Mill junction.

Another question is whether a section of road on the Dunlavin Gormanstown Road at Gormanstown Church has been included on the Low Costs Accident scheme for 2023 — this matter was raised by way of motion by Cllr O'Dwyer in March 2022.
