A reminder that the very popular Santa Truck will be visiting Kilcullen this evening, Thursday 15 December, writes Brian Byrne.
The truck will be staying for two hours with Santa and Mrs Claus and their Elves at Kilcullen Community Centre.
The truck is scheduled to arrive at approximately 6pm, and The Coffee Hatch will be open for seasonal refreshments from 5.30pm. The Community Centre area will be for pedestrians only during the visit. There will also be Santa Truck merchandise for sale.
After the stopover the truck will continue on its way through the town.
All donations made will go to the LauraLynn charity.
The giant American Peterbilt truck, operated by the Judge family, makes a number of weekend runs through County Kildare from its base in Allenwood each Christmas, bringing delight and fascination to young and old as it passes by, its deep klaxon horn notes and colourful Santa decoration gathering wide attention. This year they extended the operation to a number of further out locations in Leinster.
