Many turn up for magic Santa Truck
Well, it really was as exciting as promised, and there was a large excited crowd of families with young and not so young Santa enthusiasts at the Community Centre this evening, writes Brian Byrne.
With the space for the massive Santa Truck to drive in and park unmistakably marked out by flashing blue lights, the 'oohs' and 'aahs' almost drowned out the klaxon of the beautifully decorated Peterbilt truck.
Then the Santa's Grotto built into the big trailer was opened and the Elves managed the queues as the children filed up the ramp to meet Santa and Mrs Claus, who had ridden in the cab at arrival. All donations were slated for the LauraLynn charity. Donations can still be made at IDonate here.
More Christmas magic in Kilcullen, brought to the town by Kilcullen Community Action. It just doesn't stop.
