Elle León playing album launch concert in Kilcullen

Kilcullen local and singer songwriter Elle León is coming home from Barcelona with her band for an album launch concert here on 17 December, writes Brian Byrne.

She says it is the first trip abroad as a band, and the Elle León, The Musical concert in the Town Hall will bring her back to one of the very first stages she has sang on. "It's the first time most of the lads in the band will be in Ireland ... it will be a very special show," she says.

Tickets for the event, which will have a 7pm start, are available at €20 in The Spout, Mc Ternans and Berney's Chemists. They will also be available on the door.

Elle last performed in Kilcullen as a solo support act to the Red Hot Music Club appearance by Brian Kennedy in Fallons in October. Her own performance of vibrant melodies with playful, imaginative lyrics was described as 'magical'. She also opened the Concert for Hope fundraiser for Maintain Hope organised by Roy Thompson in Kilcullen back in 2015.
