Work commencing on Pinkeen bridge road crossings

The works by Kildare County Council to complete the road crossings at the new pedestrian bridge over Pinkeen stream are due to start today, writes Brian Byrne. The contractor is expected to be on site for four or five days.

Users of the access road to Kilcullen Community Centre, and the link road to Cnoc na Greine, are asked to be careful while driving as there may be disruptions during the works.

The bridge has been in unofficial use over the last week.

The contractor for the bridge sponsors, HES Civil, completed the bridge construction in early October.
