Kilcullen winner of GAA car draw

Kilcullen's John Berney won the top prize of a Dacia Sandero car in tonight's Kildare GAA car draw.

The draw was the third of four in which Kilcullen ticket-holders invested €100 each as part of the fundraising for the €980,000 'Field of Dreams' club development plan which was recently revealed.

The club is undertaking a range of fundraising initiatives as well as taking out a GAA loan and seeking grants for the project, which will include three new pitches, two of them for juvenile players.
