Military Collection tour in Athy Museum today

A guided tour of the Military Collection in Athy Heritage Centre & Shackleton Museum is a feature event this afternoon for National Heritage Week 2022, writes Brian Byrne. The tour starts at 3pm and lasts for an hour.

The Museum, located at Emily Square, has an extensive military collection and this event gives the public a chance to discover the objects with the guidance of a Military historian.

There are also Children's Treasure Hunts at the Museum through this week, starting at 10am and with sessions at 11.30am, 2pm and 3.30pm.

The Military History event is very suitable for families, and the Centre is fully wheelchair accessible. There's a Booking Link here.
