Grants available for community group operating costs

Running and operating costs of community groups can be helped with grants from the Community Activities Fund 2, which is currently open for applications.
The scheme is in its second round this year, to allocate €76,283 in funds which remain from the initial County Kildare funds provided by the Department of Rural and Community Development.
The funds are administered by the Local Community Development Committees (LCDCs) in each Local Authority area.
Earlier this year, €219,744 was allocated to groups throughout the county.
Application must relate to running costs already incurred between 1st July 2021 to 30th June 2022 only. Closing date is 5pm Wednesday 31st August 2022.
