GAA sets up committee to develop extra land

Kilcullen GAA has formed a Development Committee to manage the expansion of the club on eight acres of land beyond the main pitch, writes Brian Byrne.
The land was acquired in 2019 on a 100-year lease from Kildare County Council. The land swap deal provided the Club with the opportunity to further expand while allowing the Council to progress the long planned Link Road.
The committee is chaired by Martin Murphy, with Debbie O'Brien as Secretary, Barry Griffith in charge of Public Grant Funding, Trevor Schwer on Project Costings, Nick Egan in charge of Corporate and Private Funding, Teresa O'Loughlin managing Finance, Emma McLarnon on Public Relations, and Eamon Wynne as Executive Liaison.
The committee is now undertaking a survey of members and local residents about their 'Field of Dreams' which can be completed by following this link.
