Drama group read new play by Jimmy Keary

Jimmy Keary, the author of the recent production by Kilcullen Drama Group 'The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley', was back in town last evening to hear a reading of his latest play, 'Finders Keepers', writes Brian Byrne.

It was the first time the writer had heard the 3-act comedy read aloud by a group, and afterwards he expressed his thanks to Kilcullen Drama for facilitating him.

'Finders Keepers' is another rural-based story, about farmers and a triangle of romance that follows a sometimes bumpy path.

The author said hearing the play read had confirmed his belief that it is ready for production.
