'Stellar' items at upcoming Ballyshannon Action Auction

What is described as a 'stellar' list of items has already been donated to the Ballyshannon Action Group for their Auction on Saturday 9 April, writes Brian Byrne.

The event is a fundraiser for the Group's efforts to have a Judicial Appeal of the ABP decision overturning Kildare County Council's refusal of planning permission for a Kilsaran quarry on a farm in Ballyshannon.

The organisers say they are still open to donations for the auction, which they says 'promises to be a great night' in Dowling's Bar. Anything saleable will be welcome, including unwanted Christmas gifts, vouchers, hampers and furniture. Contact Jim on 086 8251165.
