Amendment application for Riverside Manor
Current site yard will be location of independent living units. |
An amendment to planning permission granted in 2020 for Riverside Manor Phase 3 is being sought by Alchemy Homes Development (Kilcullen) Limited, to provide for a block of 26 independent living residential units, writes Brian Byrne.
The application to Kildare County Council relates to the development of 125 homes at the location, which is to include a childcare facility. The permission was the subject of an An Bord Pleanala decision in 2020 upholding a previous grant of permission by Kildare County Council.
This application is required because instead of the childcare facility being located at the current site yard near the entrance to Riverside Manor, it will now be incorporated in the Phase 3 area itself. The independent living units will be located on the yard site.
As it is a Strategic Housing Development, any submissions on this must be made to An Bord Pleanala by 30 March 2022. There is a €20 fee. The File Number is 22312861.
The full details of the development can be viewed here.
