Old Kilcullen Spring Clean next week

Now that Spring has finally arrived, it's time for our annual litter picking day on the roads around Old Kilcullen, writes Kevin Sheehan, Secretary of the Old Kilcullen Area Community Association. 

It's taking place next Saturday, April 2nd at 12 noon. 

We will need to be mindful of traffic but for anyone who can help, we are meeting at the tower at noon where bags will be available and we will assign roads to individuals.

Some points to note: Please wear a hi vis vest. Bring a pair of gloves.

We will organise for the bags to be picked up from the roadside and Kildare County Council have confirmed that they will look after the disposal.
