KCC offers financial help for live performance events

Kildare County Council is proposing to make five €15,000 awards that will assist established artists, arts organisations and groups, producers and promoters to programme and present live performance events in County Kildare.
The funding may be used to support fees for performers (across all genres), designers, technicians, crew, lighting and sound engineers, support staff and associated costs.
Applications for the Kildare Local Live Performance Programming Phase 3 are welcome from all areas of the community regardless of gender, sexual orientation, civil or family status, religion, age, disability, race or membership of the Traveller Community, or socio-economic background. Applications are also welcome from artists whose first language is not English.
The closing date for applications is 5pm, Monday 21st March 2022, following which they will be assessed by an independent panel on the basis of Artistic Ambition (30%), Audience Engagement (10%), Feasibility (25%), Track Record (25%), and Value for Money (10%).
