Bank building goes on sale
The former Bank of Ireland building at the bridge is for sale with a guide price of €325,000, writes Brian Byrne.
A sign went up in the window during the week from auctioneers Sherry Fitzgerald offering the premises for sale or to let.
The property is 2-storey over basement with a garden to rear with side access, overlooking the River Liffey and Kilcullen Bridge. The total area is 309 sq m.
It is described as having great potential for development and refurbishment.
Bank of Ireland closed the branch in Kilcullen last October, leaving the town without a bank after for the first time in a hundred years.
