Looking Back: Drawing the hay
Another photo from the set taken by Eric Colson in 1947 shows a hay cock being drawn from its original field on a hay bogie, writes Brian Byrne.

From your editor's own recollections in the later 1950s, of hitching rides on a similar bogie at haymaking time of year, would this be Tom Molloy, whose field was where Avondale is now?
