Local Link proposals would add Calverstown, Narraghmore to service

Proposals to add Calverstown and Narraghmore to the 880 Local Link bus service between Naas and Carlow are in the public consultation document Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan.

The three times a day service each way currently serves 14 stops between the two towns, including locally Kilcullen, Kilgowan, Ballitore, Timolin and Moone.

The public consultation is on the overall proposals for the Kildare Public Transport Network. They include Regional Corridor proposals between the country's major cities as they apply to Kildare.

A map and outline of the existing and proposed route changes and additions is here.  An associated survey can be accessed here
