Two Climate & Energy Week discussions today

A discussion on Greening Your Business will feature this morning on the Kildare Climate & Energy Week programme, writes Brian Byrne.

The online event, registration here, begins at 11.30am and will outline supports and guidance available to small and medium businesses to make their enterprise sustainable.

The discussion will be hosted by Joe O’Carroll, General Manager, MERITS with contributions from Green Generation, Allenwood Community Development Association, Kildare Local Enterprise Office, EcoMerits and Barretstown.

And this afternoon, the Climate Action Panel will discuss what larger enterprises are doing and planning to to to mitigate their impact on the environment.

This event begins at 3pm and registration can be done here.  It will be hosted by Professor John Sweeney, Maynooth University in conversation with experts in this field including Motoring Journalist, Geraldine Herbert, Musgraves, and the ESB.
