No path sweeper for Kilcullen

Kildare County Council has no schedule for the use of a path sweeper in Kilcullen, the recent meeting of the Kildare-Newbridge MD was told, writes Brian Byrne.

Officials were responding to a request from Cllr Tracey O’Dwyer to ‘confirm days and times’ for such a sweeper in the town.

However, the response also noted that the large sweeper is scheduled for Kilcullen street sweeping three days a week, and as part of this ‘the footpaths are swept out onto the street’ and the large sweeper then collects the sweepings.
