Yellow ribbon move by campaigners against Dunnstown electricity storage plan

The Two-Mile-House Says NO! campaign is to use yellow ribbons placed locally to highlight their concerns about the proposal to site a battery electricity storage system in the Dunnstown area, writes Brian Byrne.

This follows the removal of a number of their protest signs last weekend within hours of them having placed them in the area.

Up to 50 representatives of concerned families turned up to an outdoor meeting last evening in a car park at Two Mile House. After hearing details of the project from members of the ad hoc action group, those present were urged to prepare submissions on the planning application, which have to be in by 9 June 2021.

A report from last night's meeting is the feature of the day on The Daily Cast here
