KCA Polytunnel project 'ready to rock and roll'

The KCA Polytunnel Project will be 'ready to rock and roll' by the end of June, the project leader Eoin Houlihan told the recent AGM of Kilcullen Community Action, writes Brian Byrne.

The tunnel, with support funding from the Kildare Leader Partnership, is due to arrive in the first week of June, and a composting system and solar pump are also to arrive imminently.

The facility will be used for a range of plant biodiversity initiatives, and Eoin said that some of the flowers for next year's Kilcullen In Bloom will be grown in it.
