Flowers arriving next week for Kilcullen In Bloom

Flowers for the 2021 Kilcullen In Bloom displays are scheduled to arrive on 28 May, the recent meeting of Kilcullen Community Action heard, writes Brian Byrne.

KCA Chair Ann Cashman said that KCA members and their families who want to help prepare the boxes should contact her. Participation in the preparation will be restricted in line with covid-19 regulations.

"There's a lot of work involved," she said. "It's a huge undertaking." The project involves planting in 200 window boxes, a number of planters, and 30 hanging baskets.
