Another warning on phone call 'phishing'

Gardai have issued another warning about the phishing phone call scams, writes Brian Byrne.

A number of Kilcullen people have reported such cold call attempts, from both 083 and 01 numbers. They are usually recorded messages claiming to be from a Government Department, asking for a call back. Or they can offer a number of options to select.

Gardai urge people NOT TO RESPOND to such calls. Do report them to your local Garda Station if you have concerns.

"Be vigilant," is the advice from Kilcullen's Garda Station.
