Food for the Weekend: Kalbarri Cookery

Kalbarri Cookery has a menu of Mother’s Day specials to order for collection on Saturday 14 March.

They include Chicken Wings €10; Smoked Salmon terrine with fresh crab €20; Chicken Curry and rice €13.50; Beef in red wine with champ €14; Pear and Pecan salad with creamy goats cheese €10; Cumin and sweet paprika Roast Veggie pot €10; Stilton pear and walnut tart €12; and Veggie Quiche €11.

On the day that's in it, desserts include a Mother’s Day Ferrero Rocher chocolate-filled Roulade €20. Plus all the usual treats.

Note that the Carnalway road from the cross will be closed for two weeks. Traffic will be diverted into Kilcullen to get to Kalbarri from the cross ... but worth the extra mile to celebrate our Mothers who went many an extra mile.
