Council plants trees at Silliot Hill

Kildare County Council has planted a mini-woodland of 100 trees at the Silliot Hill Civic Amenity Site to help improve biodiversity on the site.

This picture by Jenny Byrne shows an Environmental Technician at Silliot Hill helping to plant the saplings of oak, birch and alder.

The planting is part of the Council's contribution to National Tree Week.
