Take it easy driving in Old Kilcullen

For those driving up towards Old Kilcullen, be aware that the turlough which appears there during wet weather has now spread across the road, writes Brian Byrne.

It is quite passable, but take it slowly, and hold back if there's a car coming from the other direction.

A big splash through is not recommended, you could lose control easily, and also damage your car's electrics.
