Food for the Valentine's weekend

Fallons Saturday takeaway specials this week are Braised Lamb Shank with sautéed vegetables and rosemary potatoes; and Chargrilled Tuna Steak, broccoli, and potato wedges. Order on info@fallonb.ie.

To facilitate Valentine celebrations at home this weekend, Bardons has a special €50 menu on offer. The full details are available here but it includes a starter, two mains, a dessert and a bottle of wine. The menu is available Friday through Sunday for takeaway.

Armelle's Kitchen has a special inclusive Valentines menu for pickup or delivery on Saturday with mains Chicken Cordon Bleu with Garlic Potato Gratin, or Parma Ham wrapped Lamb noisette, Rosemary sauce and seasonal Vegetables, or Morel Mushrooms, Peas and Hazelnut Linguine in a creamy Champagne sauce. One starter + one main course €15, main course only €10 — full menu on their Facebook page. 

The Brown Bear has extended the pickup times for their Sunday Roast, for Valentine’s Day. Call 045 883561 with orders, which can be collected on Sunday at 2pm, 2.30pm, 4.30pm and 5pm. Meantime, the usual takeaway service is offered Thursday through Saturday evenings.
