Applications open for community and voluntary groups Covid grants
The Covid-19 Emergency funding for community and voluntary groups is now open for applications.
Any not-for-profit community or voluntary group working or located in Kildare can apply, while State agencies, commercial organisations and individuals are not eligible.
Funding is aimed to provide grants to assist groups to adapt their services and operations in the Covid-19 situation, including adapting premises to allow for social distancing, offering on-line activities, or providing social supports and friendly calls by phone. Help can also be used for them to become more involved in the Government's 'Keep Well' campaign under the themes of staying connected, switching off and being creative, and minding your mood.
The grants may also be provided to support groups (including those involved in the community call) with day to day running costs if needed.
Please click here for the guidelines and application form. The closing date for completed applications is Friday 26 February 2021 at 3pm. Due to current COVID 19 restrictions all applicants must be made emailed to grants@kildarecoco.ie. Postal or hand delivered applications will not be accepted.
