January business events from Kildare LEO

Brexit is done, as someone said, but maybe not for your business? writes Brian Byrne. If you trade with or through the UK, are you all geared up? In case you're not, Kildare Local Enterprise Office has a number of Brexit-related events during January.

On the 8th and 15th there's a workshop on Customs Export and Import Training, about the potential impacts, formalities and procedures you will need to adopt when trading with the UK. Attendance is free, but you need to book online. 

There's a Brexit Mentoring Clinic on the 14th and 21st where participants can analyse exposure to Brexit and mitigate business-specific risks. Again it is free, but book online. 

Non-Brexit events include starting a new business in the Equine sector, on the 12th; and a Trading Online Voucher Seminar on the 21st. 

Kildare LEO also has information on all current Covid-19 business supports, and a special section for those interested in starting a business based on the Barrow Canal Blueway. 

All workshops and seminars are conducted through Zoom at this time.
