Alcohol in public places Bye-Laws come into force next week


Bye-Laws to control the consumption and possession of alcohol in public places in Kilcullen and 23 other towns will come into force on 30 December 2020, writes Brian Byrne.

The Bye-Laws were adopted by the Council on 30 November 2020, and apply to Ardclough, Athy, Ballymore-Eustace, Castledermot, Celbridge, Clane, Derrinturn, Johnstown, Johnstown Bridge, Kilcock, Kilcullen, Kildare, Kill, Kilmeague, Leixlip, Maynooth, Monasterevin, Naas, Newbridge, Prosperous, Rathangan, Robertstown, Sallins and Straffan.

The bye-laws, including maps of the locations and their environs to which the bye-laws apply may be purchased for a fee of €5 or can be viewed free of charge here
