A nice day with sunny breaks and some scattered showers possibly developing later. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in light to moderate easterly winds.

DID YOU KNOW?

What is believed to have been the world's first public telephone box, called 'Fernsprechkiosk', was opened on 12 January 1881 at Potsdamer Platz, Berlin. It was operated with paper tickets called Telefonbillet which allowed a few minutes of talking time. The system was replaced by a coin-operated telephone in 1889.

PARISH LOTTO

The Kilcullen & Gormanstown Parish Lotto Draw is held at 8pm each Tuesday in the Parish Centre. This is a public event to which all are welcome. There's a prize draw each night for those attending. Details of previous Draws are here.
