Seasonal planting brightens the run in to Christmas

It's a beautiful morning, and the planting of all the boxes around town is just about completed, courtesy of Kilcullen Community Action, writes Brian Byrne.

The work was carried out by Brendan Guilfoyle of Amour Nurseries in Kildare, and comprises a range of plants and flowers suitable for this time of the year.

Definitely bringing a bright touch to the town as we coast down to Christmas, and along with the Christmas lights work now well under way, this all should help to lift morale for the difficult times of the moment.
