Safer surface on Brannockstown road

A non-slip surface was applied to a section of the Milemill-Brannockstown Road yesterday, on foot of coroner's recommendations made following a tragic accident at the section.

The work followed a motion by Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer in 2019 to have the recommendations implemented, which included warning signage.

Cllr O'Dwyer has expressed her thanks to Kildare County Council for supporting her on the project, and says the work this week is 'timely' as we head into colder weather.
