Ready for the waterworks

Water service workers preparing for the overnight work to repair a burst main in Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.

The burst is under the road opposite Rea's Takeaway, and the works will be under way from 6pm tonight until 6am tomorrow.

A stop/go traffic system will be in operation, and Kildare County Council has warned that there could be low pressure and no supply to some customers.
