Exhibition of Nativity scenes for Parish Centre next week

An exhibition of more than 100 Nativity scenes will be on display in the Parish Centre from Wednesday of next week, writes Brian Byrne.

The event has been organised by Lorraine and Ger Kelly and their family, with a collection gathered since last January. The Nativity scenes are in a wide range of sizes, styles, and made in a range of materials. They come from many parts of the world, including South America and Asia.

The exhibition will be controlled under Level 3 Covid-19 protocols, with just six people allowed in the room at a time. The event will be open from 10am-12 noon on Wednesday through Saturday, and after the Vigil Mass on Saturday as well as after Mass on Sunday.

Donations made will be divided between the Parish and the Maintain Hope charity.
