Deer warning signs erected on road to Naas
Deer warning signs were installed on Friday on the R448 near Silliot Hill, where there have been a number of incidents with motor traffic, writes Brian Byrne.
Paul Leighton, who has campaigned for the signs in recent months, has welcomed the provision of the warnings, which he hopes will encourage drivers to slow down on this section of the road.
"Big thanks are due to Cllrs Tracey O'Dwyer and Fiona McLoughlin Healy for getting this across the line so quickly," he said. "That's the power of local representation in the community."
