Creative Furniture Upcycling workshop on Thursday

An online workshop about Creative Furniture Upcycling will be hosted by Kildare Town Library on Thursday next, 26 November.

The event is at 7pm and will be run by Gerard Griffin, programme manager for Rediscover Furniture in the Rediscovery Centre.

Gerard has over 40 years' experience in the furniture restoration trade. During this workshop, he will demonstrate how to prepare your furniture for upcycling, along with painting techniques, varnishing, oiling and French polishing. Booking is by Eventbrite here.

The Rediscovery Centre offers video tutorials on a range of subjects, including Children’s Education and Junior Science, Cycling and Bicycle Maintenance, Furniture Upcycling, Sustainable Living and Fashion, and more. It is supported by the EPA, Dublin City Council and the Government of Ireland.
