Site agreed for new pedestrian crossing

It's often difficult crossing the road in this area.

A location has been agreed for a pedestrian crossing at the Naas Road coming into Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.

Councillors at today's meeting of the Kildare Newbridge MD were told that the district office had examined the site and a design is being prepared.

The MD district office is agreeable to install the crossing subject to funding being available in 2021.

The report to today's MD meeting was on foot on a motion put down by Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer.
