'Outstanding' results for CPC students - Principal
Students at CPC achieved overall results in the calculated grades for the Leaving Certificate which were 'outstanding', according to the college Principal, Joe Leonard, writes Brian Byrne.
"They were a fitting reward for the six years of hard work by these students," he told the Diary this evening. "We couldn't be prouder of them." A number among the more than 120 students achieved over 600 points, with one getting to the maximum 625 points.
"Many more students achieved fantastic results across their subjects and hopefully those waiting to find out about college courses will receive positive news at the end of this week," Principal Leonard added. "Our Leaving Certificate Applied students too are celebrating excellent results with the vast majority achieving the highest possible Distinction overall."
Congratulating the students and their families, he also paid tribute to the professionalism of the staff at CPC, to which the results reflected positively on their hard work with the students over the past six years.
"For any student in need of support, remember that we remain available by email or phone and to meet, by appointment, if necessary."
