Get ready for no-deal Brexit — Chamber
With Brexit back on the business horizon and looming closer, County Kildare Chamber is preparing a number of briefing events for local businesses, both those who export and those who import, writes Brian Byrne.
The Chamber says the stark reality is that a No Deal Brexit is very possible, and all businesses must prepare and engage 'for what we all fear will happen'. In the meantime the business group's membership is urged to sign up to Brexit Workshops on 5/6 October, hosted by Revenue, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Food & the Marine and the Department of Business, Enterprise & Innovation.
The workshops will include customs overview, the details of trading with Britain, trade with Northern Ireland, the use of the Landbridge to European markets, supports, VAT and Excise implications and more.
Day passes for each of the two days can be reserved here and here
