At last — pints in an Indian Summer

"It's been a long time coming," Ross Lloyd said with a smile as he and friends relaxed with a pint or two or three, in the sun outside O'Connell's Bar.

Along with McTernans and The Spout, today was the first time the non-food pubs had opened in the town since the middle of March. "In time for our Indian Summer. Hope it lasts."

Hope so. And not just the Indian Summer.
