Woodbine sees flood of school books orders
Visiting Woodbine Books during the week, the Diary found Dawn and her team literally out the door in piles and packages of school books.
In a Facebook post thanking customers for all their support in these difficult times, the shop says they very much appreciate all the school book and stationery orders received to date and are working to complete them as soon as possible.
"We would like to advise all those who are planning to order school books from us to place their orders as soon as possible as we cannot guarantee completion of any new orders before the reopening of schools at the beginning of September," Dawn writes. "This is because of the high volume of orders that we have already received, slower than usual deliveries and unavailability of some books due to publisher shortages.
"We will, of course, do our best to fulfil all new orders where possible."
