More seats, tables, soon in The Valley

New tables and seats are to be installed soon in The Valley, the meeting of Kilcullen Community Action held last week heard, writes Brian Byrne.

This follows a survey by members recently of the park to decide on where the facilities will be placed.

They include a second picnic table in the area opposite the Gilly House feature, and six more seats to be placed along the low wall that runs through the park.

Noel Clare said it is also planned to put seating around the area at the top of the park currently dedicated to the memory of Barry Coffee. There will be a table there, and the group is awaiting costing quotes.
