Did May Gannon keep in touch?

The Diary has had a query from Joseph Lawlor, who is trying to find out about the life of May Lawlor, née Gannon, who lived in the now empty house just up the hill from Berney Bros Saddlery.

May was married to Mick Lawlor, and is pictured above with her husband and the late Jim Collins Snr shortly after their wedding.

Joseph understands that May went back to her home county of Mayo, but wonders if she kept in touch with any families back here in Kilcullen. If so, he'd love to make contact with anyone who has such knowledge.

UPDATE: As a result of this article this morning, we now know that May actually lived in Kilcullen until her death, and did not go back to Mayo.
