Vandals face lifetime under fairy curse
Looks like somebody who doesn't have the good fortune to believe in fairies also doesn't want anyone else to, writes Brian Byrne.
The Fairy Trail in The Valley has been repeatedly targeted since it was installed, and this is the latest incidence, photographed yesterday by Gareth Landy.
"Somebody went to a lot of trouble to uproot the sign," Gareth told the Diary. "I would have put it back in if I had known where it was supposed to be, though I also didn't have a heavy mallet to hammer it in."
The upside is that the vandals involved are going to be very short on good luck for the rest of their lives ...
