No Community Awards this year
The decision was agreed at Wednesday's meeting of the Awards organisers, Kilcullen Community Action, last Wednesday.
KCA Chair Ann Cashman said the committee had discussed the matter and decided that it would not be appropriate to held the event in November, in the light of the uncertainty over the progress of the coronavirus situation. The next Awards will now take place in November 2021.
The meeting followed the KCA AGM, held in the Heritage Centre. Future public meetings of KCA will be held in Kilcullen Community Centre.
