Meet the Community Centre crew
Clockwise from top left: Adam, Fionn, Kevin and Mark. |
Simply, without these guys the Centre could not function to the capacity in which it does.
Mark Farrell is 49 and is a Newbridge native but has been living in Kilcullen for the last 31 years (Note, this is a correction from the original post that he was only 20 years here). Mark has been a member of the Centre staff for the last three years. He played soccer with Kilcullen Boys at Right Full and is a dedicated Manchester Utd fan (for his troubles)! Mark managed Kilcullen AFC second team for three years, winning two league titles.
Fionn O’Brien is 34 and lives in Calverstown. He has been working in the Centre since 2019 and is a dedicated member of staff. His hobbies include fishing, walking, urban exploring, coin collecting and going to vintage car shows. Fionn also loves history and is very proud of his heritage, even claiming he is a direct descendant of Brian Boru!
Adam Bermingham is 59 and is originally from Dublin. After living in Blessington and Hollywood, he has made Kilcullen his home for the last six years. Adam tells me that it was the 'welcoming feel' that attracted him to our town. He has been working in the Centre now for 18 months and his interests include boxing and martial arts and being the 'daddy' of the crew, always with great stories to tell.
Kevin Behan is 27 and is the newest member of our team. Another Newbridge native, Kevin has a keen interest in Football and working out in the Gym. Kevin played football for Sarsfield at underage level, and is currently studying a Level 4 in Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer.
