Kilsaran planning application granted

An application by Kilsaran Concrete for an extension to an existing extraction area at its Brownstown and Corbally site, near Silliot Hill, has been granted by Kildare County Council, writes Brian Byrne.

The application was made on 23 March 2020 and the decision to grant was made on 2 July 2020. The permission is subject to 10 conditions. Details are available on KCC's planning website.

There were 14 submissions made to the application, including by the Ballyshannon Action Group.

There is a four-week period from the date of grant for any appeal to be made to An Bord Pleanala.
