Deer signs installed at Carnalway

'Deer crossing' warning signs have been installed on the Dunstown to Carnalway stretch of road.

The work has been welcomed by Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer, who campaigned for the signs last year, following a number of incidents.

"It is very important that motorists using the particular road be made aware of the presence of deer," she says in a Facebook post, thanking the Council and crew for the installation.
